Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently undergoing treatment for an autoimmune condition called Myositis. Reportedly, the actress is in the US for the same. She opened up about her diagnosis in her latest Instagram post. Now, as per reports, Nagarjuna has expressed his desire to meet Samantha personally amid her treatment.
Reportedly, Nagarjuna, who is Samantha's ex-father-in-law, could fix a meeting with her soon. It is still unclear whether Naga Chaitanya would visit his former wife at the hospital. The Akkineni family and Samantha's team are yet to confirm the news.

Nagarjuna, the father of Naga Chaitanya, has often spoken about his close bond with Samantha irrespective of her ties with the Akkineni family. Soon after Samantha shared the Instagram post, Chaitanya's half-brother Akhil Akkineni commented, "All the love and strength to you dear Sam."
On October 29, Samantha opened up about being diagnosed with Myositis. She wrote, "A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you.. ♥ THIS TOO SHALL PASS."
After being married for 4 years, Samantha and Chaitanya parted ways last year.
