Ranbir Kapoor is celebrating his 40th birthday today. The actor who usually keeps a low profile hosted a birthday bash last night for his friends and family from the film industry. The actor has been receiving tons of birthday wishes from his colleagues and friends but birthday wish from his wife and actor Alia Bhatt took the cake.
Sharing a postcard picture of Ranbir next to a sign, ‘Cheers to Forty Years,’ and flanked by golden, white and black balloons, Alia captioned the picture as, “happy 40 baby.” She included a heart and an infinity sign emoji with the caption.
Ranbir and Alia are looking forward to embracing parenthood this year. They are currently basking in the glory of their last film Brahamstra Part One: Shiva’s box office success.
Ranbir also received lots of birthday wishes. His mother-in-law Soni Razdan shared an unseen picture from his wedding with Alia where she can be seen doing his aarti and his mother Neetu Kapoor can be seen standing in the background. She wrote, “Happy Birthday adorable SIL love you to the moon and back ! May you keep dancing your way through life and never stop.”
Arjun Kapoor also shared an adorable picture of Ranbir and wrote a hilarious caption, “Tujhe aise 40 saal se godh mein paal ke bada kiya hai maine aur aaj tu agni ban gaya...Proud of u my boy.”
Elder cousin sister Karisma Kapoor also shared throwback pictures and a birthday wish not only for Ranbir but also for their aunt Rima Jain who shares the same birthday and wrote, “Two very special Kapoor's were born today! One who's soon to be a dad And the other one who has the kindest heart Happy Birthday Rima Aunty and Happy 40th Ranbir #familylove.”
Ranbir’s mom Neetu Kapoor also shared a picture with the actor and wished him with the words, “This has been quite a milestone year for You for US !!! Miss your father as he would have been the happiest proudest im sure he is orchestrating from up there !!! Happy birthday love you the mostestttt rana you are my Shakti Astra #bestfriend #strength.”
