Yo Yo Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar are officially divorced now. Honey Singh has paid alimony of Rs 1 crore for the divorce settlement. Last year, Shalini had accused the singer for domestic violence and had filed for divorce. On Thursday, September 8, Honey Singh and Shalini reached a settlement for alimony and maintenance during mediation proceedings in Delhi’s Saket court.
During the hearing at the court where judge Vinod Kumar presided, Honey Singh gave a cheque of Rs 1 crore to Shalini as alimony and maintenance in a sealed envelope. The divorce proceedings were not an amicable one as counter-allegations were levied against both the sides. The next hearing of the case will be on March 20, 2023, in which the case will further be heard.

Shalini had accused Honey Singh of sexual violence, mental harassment, cheating and financial fraud. However, the singer had refuted all such claims and issued a statement on social media about the domestic violence case registered against him.
