Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja entered a new phase in their lives with the arrival of their baby boy. While the actress' baby shower ceremony was called off at the last moment due to a rise in COVID-19 cases, the family is reportedly planning to host a lavish naming ceremony for Baby Kapoor Ahuja.
According to an entertainment portal's report, Sonam and Anand are gearing up for a grand 'meet the baby' event where Bollywood stars will get to see the baby for the first time. The new parents in town will announce their baby's name in the presence of their close friends and family members. Reportedly, the ceremony will take place after Ganesh Chaturthi.
Sonam's baby shower was scheduled to take place on July 17 at her parents Sunita and Anil Kapoor's residence in Mumbai. Invites and luxurious gift hampers were sent out to celebrities. However, it had to be cancelled considering Sonam's safety.
Baby Kapoor Ahuja was born on August 20.
