"I Love You," said Vijay Deverakonda in the high-octane trailer of his Hindi debut, Liger. Launched amid much fandom on social media this morning, the 2 minutes long clip made Vijay's fans fall in love with him all over again! As revealed earlier, the actor plays the role of a boxer in the Puri Jagannadh directorial.
The trailer of Liger begins with Ramya Krishnan introducing Vijay as her son. Calling him a crossbreed, a mix of 'Lion and Tiger', she gives a glimpse of his powers. In the background, a rap song sheds light on his journey from a slum in Mumbai to the boxing ring and face-off with American professional boxer Mike Tyson. Amid this, we also get a sneak peek into his love story with Ananya Panday.
Liger is releasing on August 25, 2022, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. It is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur.
