IPL founder Lalit Modi broke the internet last night when he took to social media sharing cozy pictures with Sushmita Sen and even used the hashtags #betterhalf. His post sent the internet in a spin drive as people started speculating that the two have gotten married, but he soon edited his post and clarified that they have started dating and edited #betterhalf to ‘#better looking partner’. Now, finally Sushmita has taken to social media to dismiss the rumours about her wedding and written that she in a ‘happy place and not married’.
Sharing a cute picture with her daughters Renee Sen and Alisah Sen, Sushmita wrote, “I am in a happy place!!!NOT MARRIED…NO RINGS…Unconditionally surrounded by love!! Enough clarification given…now back to life & work!! Thank you for sharing in my happiness always…and for those who don’t…it’s #NOYB Anyway!!! I love you guys!!! #duggadugga #yourstruly.”
Lalit had even changed his Instagram profile picture which now includes his photo with Sushmita.
He had later retracted his post and clarified that he has started dating the actress. Sushmita’s brother Rajeev Sen also spoke about the relationship and said that the actress is yet to confirm the relationship with Lalit.
Sushmita had recently broken up with model Rohman Shawl with whom she remains friends. They were in a relationship for quite a few years.
