Uorfi Javed calls Ranveer Singh 'sweet' for referring to her as a fashion icon on Koffee With Karan, says 'initially I thought that he was making fun of me '

Uorfi Javed has become the talk of the town ever since she entered the Bigg Boss OTT house. Her stint in the reality show was short and sweet but her fashion choices made her the most talked-about celebrity recently. Be it her airport looks or her quirky style choices, Uorfi makes sure to make heads turn each time she steps out. It wouldn't be wrong to say that the actress-model has recently become the paparazzi's favourite.

What more? Bollywood's most versatile fashion icon Ranveer Singh recently called Uorfi a 'fashion icon' on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan 7 where he appeared with his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt. During the famous Rapid Fire segment at the Koffee Couch, Ranveer was asked “Whose nightmare it would be to repeat an outfit too quickly?” To this, he replied, "Uorfi Javed". Adding to Ranveer’s words, Karan said, "Because she is in new cuts". And the actor was quick to conclude, "Yes, she is a fashion icon." Reacting to the same, Uorfi said, “Ranveer Singh called me a fashion icon. I couldn't believe it. I was watching a movie and suddenly I got a lot of calls from everyone. I couldn't understand why they were calling me.”

She further added, “They started asking me if I watched Koffee With Karan's episode and started sending me its episode. I thought the episode must have been an entertaining one that's why everyone is sending me. Then my sister called me and asked if I watched the episode. I said no, so she told me that Ranveer Singh called you a 'fashion icon'.” She then said, “Initially I thought that he (Ranveer Singh) was making fun of me but he said it very nicely. It was very sweet of him.”

Uorfi also said she felt like Angelina Jolie, but later added, “No actually, I'm feeling like Deepika Padukone"
