Popular singer Kanika Kapoor has tied the knot with her NRI beau Gautam. The pre-wedding ceremonies kicked off in London with Mehendi and Haldi on May 19 and the couple got married yesterday i.e. May 20. Photos from the couple's dreamy wedding have now gone viral.
Kanika walked the aisle under a 'phoolon ki chaadar' to a rendition of Mohammed Rafi's classic song Tere Mere Sapne Ab Ek Rang Hain. A video from the varmala ceremony showed Gautam playfully backing off before bowing down so Kanika could put the garland on him. Kanika Kapoor wore a beautiful light salmon pink lehenga-choli with exquisite heavy jewellery. She looked nothing less than a dream in her wedding attire. Complementing his bride, groom Gautam opted for a crisp white sherwani and churidaar with shining jewels on his neck.
Singer Manmeet Singh of Meet Bros duo was also in attendance at the wedding. He took to his Instagram account to share a picture in which he posed with the bride and the groom. He captioned it, "May your journey ahead be as gorgeous as the two of you.. Newly weds (red heart emoji)."
Kanika first got married at the age of 18 and took divorce in 2012. She then moved back to Lucknow and stayed with her parents. Kanika is a single mother to three kids - Aayana, Samara and Yuvraj
