‘Went to Kalimpong to shoot a movie, left with a treasure trove,’ says Kareena Kapoor Khan as she shares a throwback picture from a school trip in 1996

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was shooting for her OTT debut, Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X in Kalimpong, West Bengal along with her co-stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma has left the place with a ‘treasure trove’. She has been sharing pictures from the film’s set that also featured her younger son Jeh Ali Khan who had accompanied her. However, today she took a trip down memory lane and shared a throwback picture from a trip that she and her fellow Welham Girls’ School friends took way back in 1996.

Sharing the throwback picture along with a photo from her recent visit, Kareena wrote, “Went to Kalimpong to shoot a movie... Left with a treasure trove...Our profession has a wonderful way of connecting the dots...Through our travels... Welham Girls Rajasthan trip. Circa 1996.”

In the picture, Kareena can be seen wearing the school uniform and posing with her classmates; one of whom featured in the recent picture the actress shared. It seems the actress caught up with her school friend in Kalimpong who shared the throwback pictures with her. Kareena tagged her mate in the pictures as well. Kareena’s sister Karisma Kapoor also commented on the pictures and wrote, “So lovely.”

The Devotion of Suspect X will stream on Netflix.
