Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor have started shooting for their upcoming film Mr and Mrs Mahi. Producer Karan Johar took to his Instagram stories to share that the film has gone on floors today.
Sharing the picture of the film’s clapboard, Karan wrote, “Best of luck to the entire team of Mr and Mrs Mahi for starting the first innings! Knock it out of the park.”

The film is a cricket drama and both Rajkummar and Janhvi play cricketers in the film. Earlier, Janhvi had shared pictures from her prep for the film with cricketer Dinesh Karthik where she was seen honing her cricketing skills.
Mr and Mrs Mahi is directed by Sharan Sharma who earlier directed Janhvi in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Rajkummar and Janhvi play characters named Mahendra and Mahima respectively. The film marks their second collaboration after the horror-comedy Roohi. Mr and Mrs Mahi is being produced by KJo under his Dharma Productions production banner.
