Malaika Arora talks about 'misogynist approach to female relationships', says 'It's often considered a sacrilege for a woman to date a younger man'

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are one of the most loved celebrity couples. While they continue painting the town red, they also deal with negative comments regarding their 12 years age gap. In an interview with a magazine, Malaika opened up about the 'misogynist approach' to female relationships in society.

Talking to the magazine, Malaika, formerly married to Arbaaz Khan, told, "It's very important for women to have a life after a breakup or a divorce... There's a misogynist approach to female relationships. It's often considered a sacrilege for a woman to date a younger man."

She further said she gets strength from her mother. "I'm a reflection of my mother, as I embody her strength and grit, and mirror her life subconsciously. She always told me to live life on my terms and be independent," she added.

Arjun and Malaika have been dating each other for quite some years now. Fans are eagerly waiting for them to tie the knot.
