Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja's Delhi residence robbed with jewellery & cash worth Rs 1.41 crore stolen; investigation underway

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's home in New Delhi was broken into, and cash plus jewellery worth Rs 1.41 crore was stolen. Sonam's mother-in-law Priya Ahuja was the first one to hurry to the Tughlaq Road police station to report the crime at their home, according to a news report.

Soon after, senior Delhi Police officials quickly seized control of the situation and assembled investigating squads, give the high-profile situation of the case. According to a news channel, Sonam and Anand's employees are being questioned in the investigations. The Delhi Police are interrogating 25 employees, as well as 9 caretakers, drivers, gardeners, and other personnel.

Not only the Delhi Police but also the FSL are collecting evidence from the crime scene. Because the case was so high-profile, it was kept under wraps. The inquiry is ongoing, and the perpetrators are still to be identified.

As per the report, at their Delhi residence located at Amrita Shergill Marg, Sonam's father-in-law Harish Ahuja, and mother-in-law Priya Ahuja live at the house with Anand's grandmother Sarla Ahuja. In her complaint, Sarla Ahuja (grandmother) claimed that she got to know of the theft on February 11 when she checked her cupboards for jewellery and cash. The complaint was lodged on February 23.
