The grandest celebration of Indian Cinema, the International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA), is set to thrill fans with its 22nd edition in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on May 20 and 21 of May, 2022. Hosted by Bollywood megastar Salman Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, the highly anticipated event promises to be a mélange of glitz and glamour with stunning performances from Bollywood’s superstars including Varun Dhawan, Nora Fatehi and many more!

When asked Salman what his fans can expect from IIFA Awards this time, he said, "A great line up of performances, a reunion of actors from the Indian film fraternity after a long time, lots of love, fun and laughter!" He described his excitement for IIFA 2022 using a dialogue from his movie and said, "Swag se Karenge Sabka Swagat!" When asked about any favorite/ special moments from the previous editions of IIFA, Salman said, "There are quite a few but this year will be extra special and close to me since I will be hosting it for the first time."

The event will take place at the Middle East’s largest state-of-the-art indoor entertainment venue, Etihad Arena, part of Yas Bay Waterfront on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), and Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading curator of magnetic experiences.
