Anupam Kher reveals the reason behind not promoting The Kashmir Files on The Kapil Sharma Show, host thanks him for the clarification

The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the most popular promotional hubs for celebrities and their films. While the audience loves the show, its host Kapil Sharma and the entire star-studded team, the biweekly show got trolled recently for allegedly not inviting the team of The Kashmir Files. Just before the release of the film, director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri tweeted about not being called on The Kapil Sharma Show for probably not having any 'big star'. This sparked off a major debate.

Now, clearing the air, Anupam Kher, who plays one of the leads in The Kashmir Files, told in an interview, "To be very honest I must say it here I was called to be on the show. Maine Harman, jo mere manager hai, usko kaha tha ki ‘Ye film bari serious hai, main isme nahi ja sakta hun. So I want to put my point over here. It happened around two months ago that I was told 'Aap aajayye. I have been on the show a few times and it's a funny show. It's very difficult to do a funny show and he does it very well. I don't think Kapil has any malice towards us or towards the film."
