There is a dearth of actors who don’t want to do a two-hero film, haath jodne ke baad mante hai: Akshay Kumar on multi-starrers

Akshay Kumar, who is all set to impress us all with his unique stint in Farhad Samji's Bachchhan Paandey, is currently busy promoting the film. In a recent media interaction, the actor talked about starring in multi-starrer & two-hero films without any hesitation. He also admitted that there are many who do not want to be a part of such films.

When asked about multi-starrers, AK said, "There is a dearth of actors who don’t want to do a two-hero film or multi-hero films. I keep scratching my head wondering what’s the reason. It is wonderful to have 2-3 other heroes with you. But yaha toh 2 hero film ke liye bhi haath jodne ke baad mante hai. Samajh nahi aata 4 ladkiya hai aur main akela toh kyun nahi kar sakte. I hope it will change."

Akshay said he has no qualms about being a part of multi-starrers and he picks up roles if the script is good. "Because the script is good, I do it. I want to do a hit film instead of what’s my role. Role ka achar dalu? If it’s a three hero film and I have a decent role but film hi nahi chalegi toh I won’t be a part of it. If a film is good, blockbuster and I have a role in it, people will remember. I don’t understand what maths they are doing here because it is wrong. We should do multi starrers," he added.

Directed by Farhad Samji, Bachchhan Paandey whose trailer opened to an overwhelming response, also stars a talented ensemble star cast including Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, Abhimanyu Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez. Get ready for 'Holi Pe Goli' as Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment’s Bachchhan Paandey is all set to release in cinemas on March 18, 2022!
