Farhan Akhtar tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Shibani Dandekar on February 19 in an intimate ceremony. The first pictures of the couple as husband and wife were out the same day. The couple got married in Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi's farmhouse in Khandala. Soon after their wedding, Farhan's sister Zoya Akhtar hosted a post-wedding bash for the newlyweds.
Farhan and Shibani registered their marriage on February 21, 2022. And guess what? The actress-anchor has gotten the date inked on her arm. In a recent photoshoot with Farhan, fans noticed a new tattoo on Shibani's left arm. Shibani has gotten their wedding date inked in Roman numerals - XXI.II.XXII.
Sharing a series of photos with Farhan from the same shoot, Shibani wrote, "The Akhtars @faroutakhtar"
For the unversed, Farhan and Shibani's wedding took place with only a few close friends and family members. The couple exchanged vows, instead of a traditional Marathi wedding ceremony or a nikah.
