Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar exchanged wedding vows a few days ago in Khandala at former’s parents Javed Akhtar’s and Shabana Azmi’s farmhouse in the presence of family and friends. Now, Shibani’s sister Anusha Dandekar has penned a sweet note for her brother-in-law aka jiju Farhan whom she adoringly calls as Fu. In her note she has asked him to approach her for any help if needed post marriage but there is a twist in the tale.
Sharing several romantic pictures of Shibani and Farhan from their wedding on Saturday, February 19, Anusha wrote on Instagram with a funny warning for Farhan, “A love like this… Congratulations Chicken and Fu in law. I love you both so very much and watching every day go by with so many people that love you and love to celebrate you was the most beautiful thing ever! As a sister dealing with Bridezilla was worth it because she became Cinderella in the end. Farhan we hand her over to you now! You can call us whenever you need help, we’ve changed our numbers though.”
Shibani and Farhan’s wedding was highly awaited and they finally tied the knot with friends and family in attendance. Hrithik Roshan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Shankar Mahadevan, Amrita Arora, Rhea Chakraborty and several celebs attended the wedding in Khandala.
While Farhan decked up in a tuxedo, Shibani wore an off-shoulder red and beige outfit paired with a veil. She soon changed her name on her Instagram account, which now reads Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar. She now introduces herself as 'Producer, Presenter, Actress, Singer and Mrs Akhtar' in her bio.
