COVID-19 positive Kareena Kapoor Khan to skip annual Christmas party; Saif Ali Khan and sons Taimur-Jeh to reportedly attend

Christmas is just a few days away and the Kapoor family is gearing up for their annual gathering. Keeping up with the annual tradition, members of the clan will be reuniting to enjoy a scrumptious spread and click some beautiful pictures. Right from Randhir Kapoor to Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, tinsel town's popular names are expected. However, Kareena Kapoor Khan will give it a skip. She is currently recovering from COVID-19.

An entertainment portal's report mentioned that though Kareena will be giving the annual Christmas celebration a skip, her husband Saif Ali Khan and children Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan will be attending the do. A source told the portal that the actress is feeling fine but she cannot step out of isolation without completing her 14 days quarantine period.

Kareena contracted COVID-19 after attending an intimate dinner party at Karan Johar's residence. The actress's friends Amrita Arora, Maheep Kapoor and Seema Khan have also tested positive. Maheep's daughter Shanaya Kapoor is also recovering from the virus. 

Informing about her COVID-19 diagnosis, Kareena, on December 13, shared an Instagram story. She wrote, "I have tested positive for Covid. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who has come in contact with me to please get tested. My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms. Thankfully I am feeling ok and hope to be up and about soon."
