Karan Johar announces '20 Years Of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' celebration this week with a nostalgic post, says 'still feel the euphoria of having this film release on the big screen'

Karan Johar's blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is all set to complete 20 invincible years and it still feels fresh. The iconic love story with the eminent star cast of Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, which released on December 14, 2001, will soon complete two decades. Karan's directorial, which introduced the true meaning of family love and the importance of parents, is still remembered for its path-breaking love story and unique characters. 

Now, KJo has shared a heartwarming note ahead of the grand celebration of '20 Years Of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. The filmmaker shared a video of the film's snippets and wrote on Instagram, "It’s going to be 20 years and I still feel the euphoria of having this film release on the big screen and people going to watch it. But I feel the impact sank in for me much later. And that feeling hasn’t stopped ever since. K3G is based on Rahul, the adopted older son of a rich couple and how he is banished by his father when he chooses to marry a middle-class woman. Years later, his younger brother, Rohan, sets out to find him. The film is available on Netflix.
