Cricketer KL Rahul cheers for ‘brother’ Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap, fans correct him ‘it’s brother-in-law’

Athiya Shetty’s boyfriend, cricketer KL Rahul who recently made an official appearance with the actress at her brother Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap’s premiere posted a picture on Instagram lending support to the debutant. Calling him ‘brother’ the cricketer wished for bigger things for Ahan and established as well as proclaimed his place in the Shetty household.

Sharing a picture with Ahan, Rahul wrote, “No more looking back my brother @ahan.shetty. So proud only bigger things ahead for you. Tadap out now." In the picture, Rahul can be seen sitting on a bench in a park with Ahan, as they look back at something. The picture was a hit with the fans of the cricketer and the actors. However, they pulled Rahul’s leg in the comments section and reminded him that Ahan is gonna be his brother-in-law and not brother. One person wrote, “Aha saale saab ka promotion (You are promoting your brother-in-law).” Another one said, “Not brother, brother-in-law is the word.”

On Wednesday, Athiya and Rahul made their first public appearance together at the premiere of Tadap. The cricketer also posed with Athiya’s parents Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty as well as Ahan and his girlfriend Tania Shroff at the premiere.
