Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrratt Bharuccha's Dream Girl to return with sequel? Director Raaj Shaandilyaa drops a major hint

Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrratt Bharuccha's quirky comedy Dream Girl (2019), impressed the audience as well as the critics. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film enjoyed a blockbuster run at the box office. As sequels are the current flavour, it appears Dream Girl will soon get its second part. 

Raaj, on his Facebook profile, shared a note in Hindi and dropped a major hint at Dream Girl's sequel. He wrote, "Voh fir aa rahi hai apne dil ka telephone leke #Pooja (sic)" In the film, Ayushmann played the role of a small-town guy who disguises himself as a female for a radio show and rechristens himself as Pooja.

Dream Girl was produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner Balaji Motion Pictures. As per trade reports, the film collected around Rs. 200 crores worldwide. It also starred Abhishek Banerjee, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, and Vijay Raaz.

Raaj has reunited with Nushrratt for his first production venture titled Janhit Mein Jaari, directed by Omung Kumar.
