Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, after several rounds of rumours, are tying the knot. The couple has finalised Rajasthan for their December wedding. Katrina's mother Suzanne Turquoette is in Mumbai currently to be with her daughter before she gets married. Now, as VicKat's wedding is inching closer, a news portal's report stated that the actors had their roka ceremony during Diwali at Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur's residence in Mumbai.
A source close to the development told the portal that the roka ceremony was a private affair. Vicky and Katrina's families were present for the ritual. "It was a beautiful roka. There were lights and decoration and Katrina looked stunning in her lehenga. Since the Diwali dates were auspicious muhurat, the families decided to go ahead with the ceremony. Kabir and Mini are almost like family to Katrina and they were the most gracious hosts," the source told.
As per reports, Vicky's proposal to Katrina was a rather filmy one. It was reported that the Sardar Udham actor got customised dark chocolate brownies for his ladylove. When he visited her, he gave it to her. Katrina, who was not aware of what was inside the box, was reportedly surprised on finding a note and a ring that read, "Will you marry me?"
Katrina and Vicky are expected to have two wedding ceremonies. One will be according to Hindu rituals and the other will be a Christian wedding.
