Vidyut Jammwal made his relationship with Nandita Mahtani official when he popped the question recently and got engaged to her on September 1 in front of the Taj Mahal. Their engagement left their fans surprised as the actor had managed to keep his private life under wraps.
Now, in a recent conversation with an online portal, Vidyut spoke about his impending marriage plans and said that he means to make the most of his engagement. He said, “Yes we are engaged and it’s an amazing feeling. Everyone keeps asking me ‘when is the marriage?’ But I am like 'let me enjoy the engagement.' I don’t have a marriage date yet but I am in a great place and really happy.”
Vidyut had revealed about his relationship with Nandita on his show X-Rayed where he spoke about her with actor and fighter Michael Jai White. Lavishing praise on the fashion designer, he had said, “I’ve just started seeing this girl. By the way, you (Michael) are the first person I am saying it to. I have just started seeing somebody. I really like this girl."
Later, Vidyut had confirmed his engagement with a social media post that read, “Did it the COMMANDO way 01/09/21.” The pictures showed the couple rock climbing as well as posing in front of the Taj Mahal.
