Nora Fatehi reveals she worked as a waitress in Canada as a teenager, says it was 'very difficult'

Nora Fatehi has come a long way in the Hindi film industry. The dancer-actress is one of the most popular faces in tinsel town. After going through hardships, Nora is being recognised for her dancing skills and gradually, she is leaving a mark as an actress too. Born and raised in Canada, the Moroccan beauty had to work as a waitress as a teenager. 

During an appearance on a cooking-based show, Nora revealed that she worked as a waitress ‘on and off’ from the age of 16 till she was 18. "It’s very difficult to be a waitress. You have to have communication skills, personality, you have to be fast, you have to have a good memory. Sometimes, customers can be mean, so you have to be able to handle situations," she told.

She further said, "But yeah, it was a side hustle, it was a way I was making money on the side. I think it’s a culture that we have in Canada. Like, everybody has jobs. You go to school, you work at the same time."

Nora made her acting debut in 2014 with Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans. She went on to do special songs in films like Bahubali: The Beginning, Satyameva Jayate, Stree and Batla House. Nora acted in films like Street Dancer 3D and Bhuj: The Pride Of India.
