Taking a trip down the memory lane, Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for Raksha Bandhan at his birthplace - Delhi’s Chandni Chowk. The actor shot on the sets of the film at the newly-renovated Chandni Chowk. The actor was born there. He shared a video of himself running on the street and penned an emotional note.
Sharing a video from the sets of the film, Akshay wrote, "Today’s morning run on the sets of #RakshaBandhan brought back so many memories as it was in my birthplace, Chandni Chowk. And how lovely it was to hear the chatter of the people around, never gets old ♥"
Four new faces - Shikara actress Sadia Khateeb, Who's Your Daddy fame Deepika Khanna, Smrithi Srikanth and Sahejmeen Kaur - will also be seen in Raksha Bandhan as Akshay Kumar's sisters.
Raksha Bandhan is presented by Akshay's sister, Alka Bhatia and Aanand L Rai. The film is backed by Colour Yellow Productions in association with Cape of Good Films. Kanika Dhillon and her writer-husband Himanshu Sharma are the writers of the film.
