The world woke up to an extremely sad and shocking news today as actor Sidharth Shukla passed away this morning. The 40-year-old actor has reportedly died due to a massive cardiac arrest. His mortal remains are in Cooper Hospital.
While several Bollywood and TV celebs paid condolences to the actor's family, Sidharth's Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania co-stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt also took to Instagram to pay tribute to him. Varun shared a photo with Sidharth and Alia and wrote, "Rip brother u are loved by so many and u touched so many with ur kind heart and beautiful personality. Today heaven has gained a star and we have lost one. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones."
Alia, on the other hand, shared a photo with Varun and Sidharth on her Instagram stories and shared a heartbreaking note.

While there is no official statement from the actor's family yet, a police investigation has begun. The Mumbai Police investigating Sidharth's sudden death this morning have registered it under an Accidental Death Report (ADR).
According to PeepingMoon sources, Sidharth was found unresponsive in his bedroom by his mother and reported girlfriend, actress Shehnaaz Gill. The doctors are inquiring into his medical history and checking what medication Sidharth was on.
