Tokyo Paralympics: Anil Kapoor to Abhishek Bachchan, Bollywood congratulates Avani Lekhara, Yogesh Kathuniya, Devendra Jhajharia and Sundar Singh Gurjar for their medals

India's winning feat at Tokyo Olympics isn't ending anytime soon. At the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, India got its first medal in rifle shooting. Avani Lekhara won the country's first gold medal on Monday. The 19-year-old became the first Indian woman to win gold at the Paralympics and the fifth Indian overall to win the top medal at the Games. 

Soon after the news of Avani's gold win broke, Bollywood celebrities congratulated her on social media. Akshay Kumar tweeted, "Congratulations #AvaniLekhara for hitting the bullseye and creating history by becoming the first Indian woman to win a #Paralympics gold medal What a debut! #Tokyo2020"

Anil Kapoor tweeted, "Congratulations @AvaniLekhara on creating history!! #TokyoParalympics"

In another tweet, the actor congratulated Yogesh Kathuniya for winning a silver medal in the discus throw, javelin throwers Devendra Jhajharia and Sundar Singh Gurjar for silver and bronze medals respectively. 

Abhishek Bachchan congratulated all the winners. For Avani, he wrote, "A gold-en moment for India! Hats off @AvaniLekhara on becoming the first Indian woman to win gold at #TokyoParalympics"

In another tweet, he wrote, "India is truly on a roll! Proud of #YogeshKathuniya for winning silver at #TokyoParalympics"

In his third tweet, he said, "India's dream run continues! Congratulations to @DevJhajharia & #SundarSinghGurjar for winning #silver & #bronze, respectively, at #TokyoParalympics"

Vicky Kaushal congratulated Avani.
