Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal's wedding was one of the most awaited events of the year. However, unlike fans' expectations, the ceremony was a low-key one with family members and close friends in attendance. The wedding took place in Alibaug. Away from the city's buzz, Varun and Natasha locked in each other for life. People expected Varun, an actor, son of renowned filmmaker David Dhawan and brother of director Rohit Dhawan, to have a larger-than-life wedding ceremony.
Now, exactly 7 months after the wedding, Varun opened up about why he chose to go for a low-key ceremony. Talking to a leading daily, he told, "That’s the kind of person I am, as far as my personal life is concerned. I’d rather keep it low-key, and also because Natasha isn’t from this film line anyway. The full show-sha is too much, and this wasn’t the time for that. We’ll need to come back on our feet as a country. We need schools and other things to start opening, and then I think everything can follow that."
Days after the wedding, Varun dived back into work. He headed to Arunachal Pradesh for Bhediya and a few days later, Natasha joined him, but not for a 'honeymoon'. The actor shared a picture with Natasha from Arunchal Pradesh on Instagram.
Workwise, Varun is currently shooting for Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
