Cousins Taimur Ali Khan and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu are 'bound together' as they celebrate Raksha Bandhan

It is an extended Raksha Bandhan for Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. The little princess of Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu celebrated the festival with the rest of the nation on Sunday with her 'protectors'- their pet dog and help staff. A day later, Inaaya reunited with her beloved cousin Taimur Ali Khan for a small Raksha Bandhan celebration.

Soha, on Instagram, shared a picture of Inaaya tying a rakhi on her cousin Taimur's wrist. The little one was dressed in a pretty blue frock and was seated on her mother's lap. Taimur wore shorts and tee as he sat on his father Saif Ali Khan's lap. It appears Taimur's mother Kareena Kapoor Khan was behind the camera and captured the priceless moment for the family and fans to cherish. Soha's caption read: "Bound together"

For the unversed, Taimur was on a vacation to the Maldives with his parents Saif-Kareena and younger brother Jeh Ali Khan. The family returned to the bay on Sunday afternoon.

In 2020, Soha spoke to a leading daily about Inaaya and Taimur's bond. "We want Taimur and Inaaya to spend time with each other, they have to interact with kids their age. Taimur is just nine months older than her (Inaaya). Under normal circumstances, they would have been going to school and learning from their classmates. But, since that’s not possible, we decided to have a family reunion and luckily, we all stay close by. Inaaya listens to Taimur a lot, she tries to copy whatever he does and wants to be faster than him. As they say, when you have an older sibling, you try and learn faster," the actress said.
