Headlined by Hrithik Roshan, the big-ticket film proved to be one of the major turning points in the star’s career as he walked away with unanimously rave reviews for his nuanced performance in the film. Essaying the role of a developmentally disabled boy who befriends Jadoo, an extraterrestrial being, Hrithik Roshan made a clean sweep at the award functions that year with Koi Mil Gaya becoming the most successful and talked-about film of 2003.
Interestingly, while Hrithik Roshan delivered a slate of hits prior to Koi Mil Gaya, but it was with this blockbuster that he broke the mold of being the Greek God that he is and stood out as a phenomenal performer too.
