Sonam Kapoor gets brutally slammed for her ‘Freedom in London’ remark; netizens call her a ‘bigot and privileged’

Sonam Kapoor is once again making news, albeit this time yet again for wrong reasons. Sonam’s recent statement of ‘freedom in London’ did not go down well with netizens who slammed the actress for being a bigot and for her entitlement.

The actress, who is currently living in London where she is spending some quality time with her husband Anand Ahuja, told a publication that she enjoys the freedom she has in London. While explaining what she likes about her life in London, Sonam said that she loves doing her household chores and her own cooking. She said, “I like the freedom here. I make my own food, clean my own space, shop for my own groceries." Sonam also spoke about the pandemic and said, “Friends have lost their parents. Young people have passed away, people I know. I didn't sleep for a month. I love living here, but India is where my heart is."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonam will be next seen in a crime thriller Blind. The film also stars Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli and Lillette Dubey. The film is directed by Shome Makhija.
