Dilip Kumar, 98, passed away at Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital this morning at 7.30 am. He was admitted after complaining of breathlessness since last week. Soon after the news of his demise broke, Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and others offered condolences to his family.
Mr Bachchan tweeted, "An institution has gone ..whenever the history of Indian Cinema will be written, it shall always be 'before Dilip Kumar, and after Dilip Kumar'.. My duas for peace of his soul and the strength to the family to bear this loss .. Deeply saddened."
