This morning, Babil I Khan announced his next film with his late father Irrfan's Piku makers Shoojit Sircar and Ronnie Lahiri. While Shoojit directed the 2015 film Piku, which starred Irrfan along with Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachcha, Ronnie produced it.
Sharing on Instagram 3 photos with Shoojit and Ronnie, Babil wrote, "Honoured to work with you legends "
"Honoured to take forward your legacy Irrfan sir. Worked with a legend like you, And now Babil. If this is not Providence, what is?," Ronnie wrote as he shared the same photos with Babil and Shoojit.
While the exciting project is under wraps, further details will be unveiled soon.
Babil is making his acting debut in the Anushka Sharma-produced Netflix film, Qala. The film also reunites Tripti Dimri with her Bulbbul director Anvitaa Dutt.
