Akshay Kumar and the makers of Bell Bottom took a much-needed step forward by deciding to release their film in theatres next month. The Ranjit Tewari-directorial will release on July 27. A true-event-based espionage story, Bell Bottom also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in lead roles. With nearly a month to go for Bell Bottom's much-awaited release, the actors attended a special screening in Mumbai.

Bell Bottom revolves around a hijacked flight and Akshay plays the role of a spy who is on a mission to rescue nearly 212 Indians onboard. The film is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh. Bell Bottom is produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh's Pooja Entertainment in association with Emmay Entertainment.
