Salman Khan seeks contempt action against Kamaal R Khan for continuing to make defamatory remarks about him

It seems Salman Khan is in no mood to tolerate Kamaal R Khan's social media drama. The superstar had filed a defamation case against the self-proclaimed critic for passing false and derogatory statement. Since then, Kamaal, who is better known as KRK, has been allegedly saying ill things about Salman.

Now, Salman's team has filed an application before a court demanding contempt action against KRK for continuing to make defamatory remarks despite an undertaking not to do so. The application was submitted in a defamation suit filed by Salman seeking to restrain KRK from directly or indirectly making and uploading videos or any other content on the actor, his business ventures and films/projects.

On Monday, Salman's advocate Pradip Ghandy told Additional Sessions, Judge C V Marathe, that despite the assurance, KRK went on to publish defamatory tweets. "This is contempt of court," Ghandy stated. Reportedly, an application was submitted seeking contempt action against KRK and the hearing will be on June 11.
