Actor Rahul Vohra succumbs to COVID-19 hours after sharing a social media post seeking 'better treatment'

The second wave of COVID-19 has claimed many lives till now. People are experiencing difficulty in finding a good treatment for the virus. From a shortage of hospital beds to depleting oxygen supply, the condition in the country is grim. Amid this, actor Rahul Vohra succumbed to COVID-19.

Hailing from Uttarakhand, Rahul had been reportedly facing troubles after he developed complications due to COVID-19. Hours before Rahul's demise, he had penned a heartbreaking note on Facebook and said he has lost hope. "Mujhe bhi treatment acha mil jata, To main bhi bach jata tumhaara Irahul Vohra," he wrote. He also shared details of himself as a COVID-19 patient. The actor added, "Jald janam lunga or acha kaam karunga. Ab himmat haar chuka hu."

Theatre director-playwright Arvind Gaur confirmed the news and wrote on Facebook, "Rahul Vohra is gone, my talented actor is no more. It was only yesterday that he told me his life could have been saved if he got better treatment. He was shifted to Ayushman, Dwarka last evening but we could not save him. Please forgive us, we are all your culprits. My last respects."
