Bollywood actors, musicians and filmmakers took to social media on Thursday night to express shock and mourn the demise of music composer Shravan Rathod of the popular Nadeem-Shravan duo. Shravan breathed his last in Mumbai around 9.30 pm on Thursday. The renowned composer succumbed to Covid-19.
Akshay Kumar offered his condolences and wrote, "Very sad to know about the passing of music composer Shravan. Nadeem-Shravan created magic for many films in 90s and later, including Dhadkan that has remained legendary in my career. Deepest Condolences to his family. "

Divulging details, producer Ashoke Pandit shared, "Film Industry loses one of the most popular music composers #ShravanRathod of #NadeemShravan fame. His demise today at 9.30 pm has created a void in the music & film fraternity. He will remain alive with his music. Heartfelt Condolences to the family. Om shanti."

Kumar Sanu also expressed his grief over the demise of Shravan. He said, "He was an asset to our music industry and has made memories for all with his infecting compositions ,he was a magician with music . So humble and down to earth ,I have had my best musical journey with him and his songs will live in hearts forever .It is indeed a dark day for the music industry" He also took to Instagram to mourn Shravan's loss and wrote, "Heartbreaking news about my very dear friend Shravanji....I have no words!! May God gives strength to the family. Rip #shravanrathod Ji."
