Aankhen 2 was expected to be bigger and better than its predecessor. While the basic premise was to remain the same, this time the heist was supposed to be centered at a casino. How three visually impaired men carry out the robbery was to be the crux of the story. Abhinay Deo was said to have already started preparing for the film and was supposed to be shooting for it sometime around July this year.

However, with the film now being shelved, all developments have been stoped.
