Ahead of Thalaivi trailer, Kangana Ranaut shows dramatic physical transformation in stills from film

The makers of Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivi are all set to launch the trailer on the actress's birthday ie March 23. Ahead of the much-awaited trailer, Kangana, who plays the titular role, shared some stills from the film showcasing her massive physical transformation.

Kangana, sharing three stills from Thalaivi, wrote about gaining 20 kgs for the role and other challenges she faced while shooting for the biopic. "One day to go for the trailer launch of #Thalaivi Gaining 20 kgs and loosing it all back within a span of few months wasn’t the only challenge that I faced while filming this Epic Biopic, wait is getting over just in few hours Jaya will be your forever," Kangana said.

Directed by Vijay, Thalaivi will release in cinemas on April 23, 2021. The trilingual film is presented by Vibri Motion pictures, Karma Media Entertainment and Zee Studios in association with Gothic Entertainment and Sprint Films. It is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh and co-produced by Hitesh Thakkar and Thirumal Reddy.
