Known for being outspoken and active on the micro-blogging site Twitter, Swara Bhasker has addressed many trolls head-on to date. Recently, the actress lashed out at a Twitter user who commented on her latest Vogue issue.
“Finally Nallasopara gets a face in Vogue. Congrats to all,” a user commented on her new profile picture. For the unversed, Nallasopara is located on the outskirts of Mumbai and is inhabited by low-income families.

Not the one to sit down and listen, Swara lashed out at the user by calling him a ‘pretentious half-wit pretending to be elite.’ “And why not?!? Nallasopara should get a face and space in @VOGUEIndia as should Dharavi.. And Shahdara, & Seelampur.. why the hell not you pretentious half-wit pretending to be ‘elite’.. You live off the labour of those who live in the areas whose names you use like slur.. #loser,” the actress replied.
The unabashed actress has been a part of many films such as Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Nil Battey Sannata, Tanu Weds Manu, Veere Di Wedding, to name a few. She has also been busy with some OTT projects like Amazon Prime Video’s Rasbhari, Flesh and Netflix’s Bhaag Beanie Bhaag. The actress was last seen in an MX Player series Aapkey Kamrey Mein Koi Rehta Hai. She would be next seen in Jahaan Chaar Yaar alongside Shikha Talsania, Meher Vij and Pooja Chopra.
