Deepika Padukone showed off her culinary skills while the nation was under lockdown and she had ample amount of time on her hands to stay at home and make new dishes for her husband Ranveer Singh. She has also gone on record to say that she likes to order groceries for her house and is hands-on when it comes to her household chores. So, it does not come as a surprise that she indulged in a bake off with her childhood friend Hiteshi Mehta.
Deepika took to social media and posted a video in which she takes part in a bake-off with her friend Hiteshi. The duo have been together since Class 4 and proceeded to spill some unknown tidbits about each other in the hilariously competitive video including one from the actress’ bachelorette.
Deepika and Hiteshi try their hands at baking a chocolate peanut butter cookie. The entire video is filled with the two sharing nostalgic moments and indulging in fun banter. Deepika reveals that she hid some of the crucial ingredients of Hiteshi but still the latter manages to make a cookie. Hiteshi on the other revealed that Deepika on her bachelorette would do laundry twice a day and asks fans to come up with a name for their patisserie, to which the actress replies ‘Hiteshi-Deepika Iyengar Bakery’.
