The farmers have been protesting for their rights for months now. On Republic Day 2021, the farmers headed out to Delhi for a tractor protest. Thousands of farmers did a tractor rally and entered the premises of Red Fort and there was violence involved in some places of Delhi.  After clips and images of violent clashes between the police and the protesting farmers in the national capital went viral, Bollywood celebrities reacted to it. Actress Kangana Ranaut also took a jibe on Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Diljit Dosanjh. Sharing a picture of a protester planting a flag, she said that the incident makes a mockery of the nation on a global stage. 

"You need to explain this @diljitdosanjh @priyankachopra. Whole world is laughing at us today, yahi chahiye tha na tum logon ko!!!! Congratulations," she wrote, adding an applause emoji. In a separate tweet, she claimed to have lost endorsement deals because of her comments against the protests, which have been raging for months at Delhi's Singhu border, because of the Centre's farm laws.

For the unversed, Kangana has been involved in a social media war with Diljit over the past few weeks. The actress has also commented on Priyanka, though she has never replied to her.
