Sonam Kapoor Ahuja starts shooting for her upcoming film Blind in Glasgow, film backed by Sujoy Ghosh to release in 2021


In September last year, rumour of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja signing the Hindi remake of the South Korean film Blind did the rounds. Produced by Sujoy Ghosh's company, the crime thriller will be helmed by his associate director Shome Makhija. Now, the shoot of Blind has finally kickstarted in Glasgow with Sonam.

Speaking of Blind, Sonam will be seen in the role of an ex-cop who goes blind in an accident that happens while hunting down a criminal. She then helps the police to solve a hit-and-run case. Blind will release in 2021. 

Sonam was last seen in The Zoya Factor in 2019 which failed to work at the box office.  She made a cameo in her father Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap's recently released film AK vs AK.
