Kriti Sanon 'finally tests' negative for COVID-19, thanks BMC officials and fans

On December 9, Kriti Sanon confirmed testing COVID-19 positive. The actress was shooting for her film Second Innings in Chandigarh. She returned to Mumbai a few days ago and was diagnosed with the virus. The news of her testing positive came in a few days later after Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor caught the virus while shooting for their film Jug Jug Jeeyo in Chandigarh. 

Today, Kriti took to her Instagram story and confirmed that she has tested negative for the deadly virus. She also thanked the BMC officials and her doctor for their assistance. Sharing a note, she wrote, "Happy to inform everyone that I have finally tested negative for COVID-19. A big thank you to @my_bmc officials, respected assistant commissioner Mr. Vishwas Mote and my doctor for all the help and assistance. And thank you all for the warm wishes and the never-ending love.”

Informing fans about her COVID diagnosis, Kriti, on Instagram, shared a note last week that read, "I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for Covid-19. There's absolutely nothing to worry as I'm feeling fine and have quarantined myself as per BMC and doctor's advice. So I'm gonna ride this tide, rest it out and resume work soon. Till then, I'm reading all the warm wishes and they seem to be working. Be safe guys, the pandemic hasn't gone yet!"

On the work front, Kriti was last seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar's Panipat in December 2019.
