After much anticipation, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani have collaborated for a family entertainer. Titled Jug Jugg Jeeyo, the film is directed by Raj Mehta. The actors along with the rest of the crew jetted off to Chandigarh on November 12 to begin the shoot. Jug Jugg Jeeyo went on floors on November 16. While not much about the film has been revealed, today, the makers dropped in a surprise for fans.
Varun and Kiara, who are playing husband and wife in Jug Jugg Jeeyo shared their look from the film on their Instagram handles. "#JUGJUGGJEEYO . Happy Wife Happy Life! 2021," he captioned the post. On the other hand, Kiara wrote, "#JUGJUGGJEEYO Happy Husband, Happy Life!"
Sharing a picture with Kiara, Varun, Anil and Prajakta Koli, Neetu wrote, "My first flight, in these scary times !! Nervousss for this journey !! While Kapoor Sahab, you aren’t here holding my hand, I know you are with me .. #RnR thank you for encouraging me to do this.. #jugjuggjeeyo P.S. - We are all Covid tested and safe, hence removed mask while taking picture."
Reportedly, Anil and Neetu will be playing Varun's parents. It is believed that their track will be high on humour. The film marks the maiden collaboration of Anil and Neetu with Varun and Kiara. In the past, the young actors teamed up for Kalank. Raj directed Kiara in 2019's blockbuster Good Newwz.
