Mommy-to-be Anushka Sharma has one more reason for that pregnancy glow on her face. Besides being excited about the birth of her baby in January, her cricketer hubby Virat Kohli will be home for her delivery as he has been given paternity leave by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
As per reports, the Indian cricket captain will return home from Australia after the opening test match in Adelaide next month to attend the birth of his first child. BCCI secretary Jay Shah said in a statement that the cricketer had informed the board of his plans to return home well in advance.
Shah said, “The BCCI has granted paternity leave to the Indian captain. He will return after the first test against Australia in Adelaide.”
Virat and Anushka had announced that they are expecting their first child in August. Anushka had been in Dubai for the on-going Indian Premier League.
