After a long break, Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly gearing up to start the shoot of his action-thriller Pathan. The Siddharth Anand directorial co-starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone is said to go on floors this month. Now, as per the latest reports, Shah Rukh faced the cameras for Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha. According to reports, Shah Rukh will be seen in a cameo in his buddy's much-awaited film.
As per a leading daily's report, Shah Rukh jetted off to Delhi to join Aamir for Laal Singh Chaddha's shoot before heading to Dubai for IPL's season. Reportedly, Aamir turned director for his buddy and shot his cameo. The report further stated that after wrapping the shoot, Aamir and Shah Rukh sat down for drinks and spent hours making insider jokes.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh's firm Red Chillies VFX is handling the visual effects of Laal Singh Chaddha. In November last year, rumour had it that Shah Rukh and Salman Khan will be seen in cameos in Laal Singh Chaddha. The film is the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump. In the Hollywood film, there was a scene where Tom's character is sitting on a bench. It was reported that Aamir wanted Shah Rukh and Salman for the scene. A source close to the development had told a website, "He is very keen to have a special appearance from the two. While Shah Rukh has agreed, Salman is yet to give his consent."
Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Mona Singh and Manav Vij. It is directed by Advait Chandan and will release on December 25, 2021.
