Don't need a man opposite Katrina Kaif in her superhero film: Director Ali Abbas Zafar

Katrina Kaif and Ali Abbas Zafar go back a long way! Ali made his directorial debut with the actress back in 2011 with Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and almost six years later teamed up with her again for Salman Khan' spy-thriller Tiger Zinda Hai. Later, she worked with him on Bharat after Priyanka Chopra Jonas stepped down from the Salman Khan starrer. Now, the duo is all set to collaborate again, this time on a superhero action film with the actress headlining the cast. But her film won't need a hero, Katrina will be the hero, as Ali mentions.

Back from abroad after finalizing his locations for the yet-untitled film, Zafar told a leading daily that it will take him at least six months more before he can take it on the floors. "There's still a lot of prep work left in the preproduction stages which we are currently in. Anyway, I have decided that it will be Poland, Georgia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Uttarakhand where I will shoot the film."

The film won't have a male lead opposite Katrina. Ali confirmed this and said, "Well, I don't need a man opposite Katrina in this film. She herself is the hero as well." He added, "This film will be mounted on a huge scale and will be very new and different. Katrina won't have a romantic track in it."

Katrina is required to train for martial arts and combat training which she's diligently doing. No toning or losing weight is needed as Zafar said, "Martial arts karte karte toning ho jayega."
