Yash resumes shoot of KGF: Chapter 2; Sanjay Dutt to likely join team in first week of November

Due to the COVID- triggered lockdown, the shoot of several films came to a standstill. After the Government eased the lockdown rules in June, the industry restarted in different phases. In August, the team of the multilingual film KGF: Chapter 2 resumed shoot after a five months break. However, the lead actor Yash remained absent from the brief schedule and joined the team on Wednesday with his leading lady Srinidhi Shetty. A source close to the film told a leading daily that Yash and the team will fly down to Hyderabad for a 20-day schedule after shooting for a few key scenes in Bengaluru.

"After canning some important scenes with them in Bangalore, the team will fly down to Hyderabad for another 20-day shoot on the set of the Kolar Gold Fields. They will be shooting some lavishly-mounted action scenes, including the climax," the source told. The source further added that to maintain continuity, the Kannada star has grown a heavy beard during the lockdown.
