The makers of Akshay Kumar's Bell Bottom released it teaser this morning and it sure looks promising. Starring Akshay, Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta Bhupathi, the film is directed by Ranjit M Tewari. The film is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh.
Giving a sneak peek into the retro themed espionage thriller Bell Bottom, the teaser shows Akshay in a sharp, sauve and stylish avatar. Shot in the highlands of Scotland, the crisp teaser offers glimpses of an enormous geographical scale and lavish production value. Bell Bottom has Akshay playing a RAW agent on the trail of a mystery and the film’s retro theme brings back the eighties. Released barely hours after the film's team landed back in the country after a packed 60 day start-to-finish schedule, the sneak peek into the retro spy thriller delivers on its promise and has hit the right notes.

Bell Bottom has become the first film in the world to wrap its shoot amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The film finds itself in the company of a handful of international, mega-budget films that got back on the floors during the pandemic such as Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible 7 and Jurassic Park: Dominion, managing to shoot in an unprecedented environment. In the process, Bell Bottom has become the first of these films to complete shooting the entire film.
Pooja Entertainment presents in association with Emmay Entertainment Bell Bottom. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. Bell Bottom, written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh is set to release in cinemas on April 2, 2021.
